Don’t Dim your light

There comes a point in a believer’s journey when the greatest temptation is not to deny Christ outright but to become less visible.

Many of us are naturally peacemakers. We love people. We don’t want to be misunderstood. We don’t want to offend anyone. We desire acceptance, harmony, and unity.

So we begin to adjust… We soften our convictions… ..We reduce our testimony…but deep down you know some thing is going wrong but you assure yourself that “Im still in faith”

Little by little, we dim the very light God called us to shine.

We tell ourselves:

“I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable.”

“I don’t want to seem too different. or unnecessarilydifficult”

“I just want to fit in. I’m not doing anything wrong”

But pause for a moment.

What are you doing?

God did not send you into that workplace, classroom, neighborhood, ministry, or marketplace to blend in. He sent you there to shine.

He sent you to be a witness, you must not withdraw.

He sent you to speak truth—not to remain silent. He sent you to represent His Kingdom, please do not conform to the world.

As you journey through every season of life and every place God leads you, remember this: You are sent.

You are a child of God.

You are an ambassador of Christ. Your life no longer belongs to you; it belongs to the One who called you.

His will is your assignment.

His purpose is your mission.

His Kingdom is your priority.

Do not be afraid of being misunderstood.

Do not fear standing alone.

Do not compromise simply because the crowd is moving in a different direction, your are called to STAND OUT.

The world need believers who confront the darkness.and not afraid to shine their light so bright that it illuminates others.

The world need believers who confront the darkness.and not afraid to shine their light so bright that it illuminates others.

Jesus declared:

“You are the light of the world….”

Light shines. You cant afford to be invisible now. Do not dim your light to make darkness comfortable.

Do not remain silent when the Holy Spirit is urging you to speak, remember you are a co-labourer with Christ

Do not withdraw when God has called you to witness …the power has been given.

You are God’s ambassador.

Through you, He restores the broken, heals the hurting, rebuilds lives, tears down strongholds, and reveals His glory to the world.

So keep your eyes on the Master.

Stay on the altar.

He will strengthen you.

He will guide you.

He will sustain you.

And as you remain faithful, your light will point others to Christ.

Prayer

Father, help me never to dim the light You have placed within me. Give me the courage to stand for You with love, wisdom, humility, and boldness. Let my life reflect Christ wherever You send me. May I never seek acceptance above obedience, and may Your light shine through me until others are drawn to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Do you have moment that you shrinked from your faith?
