Knowing Your Identity, and Family in Christ

You are not alone in the spirit. When you give your life to Christ and begin to walk in His alignment and purpose, you are brought into the lineage of Christ, the family of God. God knows you. God identifies you. And even so, Satan and demons also know and identify you.
Identity Matters!
This truth is clearly revealed in the book of Acts through the story of the sons of Sceva. They attempted to cast out a demon by saying, “We cast you out in the name of Jesus whom Paul preaches.” These men did not have a personal relationship with Jesus; they only knew of His name and tried to use it without covenant or identity. The demon answered, “Jesus I know, Paul I know but who are you?” And the demon-possessed man overpowered them. This passage teaches a vital spiritual principle: identity matters in the spirit. Authority flows from your relationship with Jesus, not from imitation. When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are sealed by the Holy Spirit and brought into the family of God. You are known in heaven and recognized in the spirit.
Authority flows from your relationship with Jesus, not from imitation.
You Are Not Alone in Your Faith
Your faith is not alone. Many are your brethren scattered all over the world.
I remember a season in my life when I felt very alone in my fight of faith. In prayer, God spoke to me and said, “Your faith is not alone. Many are your brethren scattered all over the world.” That word strengthened me deeply. Though I felt isolated, God reminded me that I was standing together with countless believers across the world. He encouraged me to hang on and keep praying. The Bible reminds us that we are one body in Christ Jesus, We are being built together as a spiritual house unto God. As we receive Jesus, we are brought into this one family connected, supported, and strengthened by one another.
The kingdom you belong to;
It is important to know who you are, whose you are, and the Kingdom to which you belong. You belong to the Kingdom of God’s light. The Word of God declares that we have been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the Kingdom of His dear Son. Hallelujah!
Fellowship with the brethren
So I encourage you: do not forsake fellowship with the brethren. Fellowship is where we are strengthened, built up, comforted, and made whole. Scripture exhorts us not to neglect gathering together, but to encourage one another God uses fellowship to remind us that we are not alone, to sharpen our faith, and to help us stand firm in Christ.
God bless You
